Crozier Park closed this week (starting June 23rd)

Due to the amount of rain that we have experienced over the last two weeks Crozier park is too water logged to safely play on.

All remaining games this week which normally take place at Crozier Park will be switched to Kemptville College fields 6, 7 & 8 (which will be temporarily laid out as mini-fields) This includes:

  • Tuesday U7 Girls House
  • Wednesday U7 Boys House
  • Thursday U5 Girls House

Mens House moved this week (June 24)

In order to make room for the U7 Girls House being moved from Crozier Park we need to move the Men's House League games to KCAT 2 and KCAT 4.

Competitive Registration for Summer 2008

Competitive Registration is now closed.

House League Registration for Summer 2008

Game Nights and Fields

Game Nights and Fields are now posted, see our Teams & leagues page. It is always possible that these will need to change for some reason, but it is unlikely.

The Wearing of Jewelery is Not Permitted While Playing Soccer

No item of jewellery of any sort will be allowed on the field of play, even if it is ‘taped’. This includes but not limited to necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, leather or rubber bands or visible body piercings. Loose beaded hair is also not permitted unless tied back or covered by a net. Please see the Ontario Soccer Association Equipment Guidelines.

Volunteers Needed!

The Kemptville District Soccer Club is in need of volunteers to help with the 2008 soccer season. Please contact our club secretary if you are able to help.

Child Physical Activity Tax Credit

Starting in 2007 the Federal Government of Canada will provide a tax credit on amounts of up to $500 paid by parents to register a child in an program of physical activity. Click here for more info. Most Kemptville District Soccer Club programs, including the Summer 2008 Season, are believed to meet all the necessary standards.

This tax refund system will work similarly to charitable donations, you will claim the refund as part of your annual tax return and will be expected to provide a receipt if audited.

If you registered with KDSC in person you should have received a copy of the registration form signed by a club representative, this is your receipt. If you registered by mail or for any other reason need a receipt please email our Registrar. Requests for tax receipts must be received by December and may not be processed until December. Tax receipts will be emailed to the address the request was sent from unless otherwise specified.

Referees Needed

We need more Referees for the summer season. We especially need more adult C3 qualified referees. Refereeing is a key part of our club, we can't play without referees. Plus it is an opportunity for teenagers and adults to earn money with a healthy outdoor part-time job. If you are interested in refereeing for our club, whether you are currently qualified or not, please contact our Head Referee, Chris Hansen (258 2130). --
