Registration For 2010 Summer Season
We need to get a clear understanding of which competitive teams we will be running in which divisions next year.
The teams we run depend on the number of competitive players who register,
so we are asking all of our competitive players to register by January.
What about Outstanding Debts?
Some players & parents have outstanding debts to the club, mostly due to NSF cheques.
These debts must be cleared before next season's registration.
Registration will not be accepted for players with outstanding debts.
Where & When can I Register?
Registration for Summer 2010 House League and adult Competitive players is on going. You can download a registration form
from our forms page and mail it to us (PO Box 1322, Kemptville, ON, K0G 1J0) or drop it in the
mailbox at our club office.
3-Part NCR forms will be available at the registration sessions if you prefer to register in person.
The following registration sessions will be held at the club office:
-
Saturday, February 27th - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
-

What Age Group am I?
(our apologies to Mac users - this tool won't work on Mac computers)
There is a discount for earlybird registration for the summer season. This discount is $20
and applies to competitive registrations completed and received by January 17th and house league
registrations completed and received by March 28th.
Some of our players have not returned their summer season shirts to the club.
Players who do not return their shirts on time will be charged an additional $75 on their registration next year
to cover the cost of replacing the shirt.
We have to order replacement shirts before Christmas,
so returning a shirt at registration is now too late to avoid this charge.
Can I get a Refund later?
It is understood that until the game nights are known many people are unable to fully commit to playing.
The policy of the club with respect to refunds is:
-
Prior to OSA player registration: Full Refund.
-
After OSA player registration but before the first game: Full Refund less the OSA registration costs (varies from about $10 to $45 depending on the age and level).
-
A player who does not make a competitive team but goes on to play house league may be refunded the difference
in registration prices.
-
There with be no refunds after the first game except if the club has to withdraw a category or division during the season then a pro-rated refund may be offered.
Due to the workload at the beginning of the
season, refunds are usually not issued until the end of June.
All requests for refunds must be made by filling in an official refund form.
What else should I know?
Any equipment received remains the property of the Club and must
be returned at the end of the season or you will be billed $75.
Players at most levels are supplied with shirts, shorts and socks.
The shirt remains the property of the Club and must be returned
at the end of the season or you will be billed $75. You can keep the shorts and socks.:-)
Last season our under 7 and under 5 age group players received Tim Hortons' Timbits
shirts and were able to keep them. We hope to repeat this sponsorship this
year.
The exact selection of competitive youth and adult teams will depend
on the number of applications received and the available spaces in the
leagues.
It is advisable to register early, as some
age categories will be capped, because of the limited number of playing
fields, and the limited number of places on competitive teams.
The Frequently Asked Questions page has a lot more information.
Including the exact rule for age categories (U11, U12 etc) and the difference between House and Competitive teams.
