What Age Group am I?
What are the Costs?
The price varies depending on the team or league you play in. This
reflects varying costs for team registration in competitive leagues, insurance
etc. See the registration forms for details.
Registration for the 2009 season is the last opportunity to use any bingo chits.
There is a discount for earlybird registration for the summer season. This discount is $20
and applies to registrations completed and received by February 29th.
Some of our players have not returned their summer season shirts to the club.
Players who do not return their shirts on time will be charged an additional $25 on their registration next year
to cover the cost of replacing the shirt.
We have to order replacement shirts before Christmas,
so returning a shirt at registration is now too late to avoid this charge.
Can I get a Refund later?
It is understood that until the game nights are known many people are unable to fully commit to playing.
The policy of the club with respect to refunds is:
-
Prior to OSA player registration: Full Refund.
-
After OSA player registration but before the first game: Full Refund less the OSA registration costs (around $20).
-
A player who does not make a competitive team but goes on to play house league may be refunded the difference in registration prices. To make this process easier we request that palyers trying out for competitive teams write 2 cheques. One to cover the basic House League cost, and one to cover the difference between House and Competitive (for their age group). That way when a player drops back to House League we can simply cash one cheque and destroy the other.
-
There with be no refunds after the first game except if the club has to withdraw a category or division during the season then a pro-rated refund may be offered.
Due to the workload at the beginning of the
season, refunds are usually not issued until the end of June.
All requests for refunds must be made by filling in an official refund form.
What else should I know?
Any equipment received remains the property of the Club and must
be returned at the end of the season or you will be billed $25.
Players at most levels are supplied with shirts, shorts and socks.
The shirt and shorts remain the property of the Club and must be returned
at the end of the season or you will be billed $25. You can keep the socks.:-)
Last season our under 7 age group players received Tim Hortons' Timbits
shirts and were able to keep them. We hope to repeat this sponsorship this
year.
The exact selection of competitive youth and adult teams will depend
on the number of applications received and the available spaces in the
leagues.
It is advisable to register early, as some
age categories will be capped, because of the limited number of playing
fields, and the limited number of places on competitive teams.
The Frequently Asked Questions page has a lot more information.
Including the exact rule for age categories (U11, U12 etc) and the difference between House and Competitive teams.
